Observe the effects of its activities to try to gauge the impact of the seeds sown by Festisol

Let’s get equipped! Network life Festisol News

For nearly 30 years, across France and in more than 12 countries around the world, the Festival of Solidarity has been bringing together charities, schools, local authorities, cultural organisations, etc., who organise activities and numerous events to encourage citizens of all ages to take action for a fairer, more united and sustainable world.

Festisol, with its welcoming and socially engaged events that forge links between local and international solidarity, is based on an approach to Education for Citizenship and International Solidarity (ECSI). As the changes that ECSI aims to promote are primarily qualitative, the impact of these initiatives is complex to analyse and evaluate. Nevertheless, it is essential that we collectively assess how our events resonate with audiences and achieve their objectives.

That is why, for several years now, a comprehensive and adaptable tool has been made available to the Festisol network to monitor the impact of its events.

These changes are part of a long-term process and are aimed at bringing about structural changes. However, so as not to succumb to fatalism and to contribute, in our own small way, to the transformation of our society, we are taking action to encourage reflection, raise awareness and inspire people to take action.

This observation process therefore enables us to assess collectively how Festisol is doing its bit to build a fairer and more inclusive world.
